500+ Live Daphnia Magna Cultured NATURALLY in our out door ponds. Please note even though it is stated as 500+ it is guaranteed you will receive more than what is stated as our yield is quite high within our ponds. We currently have 2 natural ponds that produce the highest quality of daphnia magna seasonal year round from early spring to late summer. They are only fed organic matter that falls into their water column that is then produced into natural soil to maintain the water quality. On top of that they are fed naturally produced green water from our goldfish ponds, maintaining a vibrant red into their body as green water IS the #1 food source for maintaining your cultures. Green water supply's healthy enzymes that once consumed will help promote your fish health and gut systems, overall increase in immune system as well. There is a reason why our goldfish loves it. Our 2 ponds bloom naturally year round with 0 crashes for the past 5 years, and has done so continuously with the only water change coming from our goldfish green water ponds, and rain water. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that our ponds are cultured outdoors, you will get other small micro organisms that are ALL SAFE TO FEED YOUR FISH such as mosquito larvae, live blood worms, seed shrimp, and black worms and does not harm the daphnia. But we will do our best to keep it at a minimum. However these micro organisms play their part in a natural environment for daphnia to thrive, as daphnia are A FILTER FEEDERS, which the other organism eat organic matter to breaks it down for them.
