Thanks so much for coming to check out my JustMe page. I was lucky enough to have a father that started me in the hobby very young. I can honestly say I've had at least one fish tank going since the day I was born. Livebearers and varieties of plecos are my specialties but I do keep multiple other species. I am a very small business with my wife and I being the only employees. I can't lie, my one year old son does help clean the glass with the magnetic algae scrapers (we're starting him young.) What this means is I am a hobbyist first! I know what it is like to receive DOA fish/plants/etc., have shipments delayed, receive fish that are not what are expected, and sick fish. I've been through it all, which is why I started to sell on Aquabid. I want to provide quality fish, plants, and products throughout the hobby at a reasonable price while making some money to keep the air pump going in the fish room. I stand behind everything sell!
Shipping Info.
I ship in insulated boxes with heat/cool packs when needed. I prefer to use USPS but will use other carriers if you prefer it. I ship on Saturday mostly because I work fulltime as a plumber Monday - Friday but I will do my best to accommodate to your needs and ship on different days. I do offer Free Shipping on some of my auctions with a 5 dollar box/insulation/heatpack fee. I ship with USPS priority mail when the shipping is listed as free in the auction. If you would prefer a different carrier than USPS you are responsible for the actual shipping cost. I do offer a DOA guarantee on some of my auctions as well. It will be listed in the auction description if there is a guarantee. The following is how my DOA poilicy works. I must receive pictures of the deceased fish/plant within one hour of the first delivery attempt in the the original un-opened bag. You will either be refunded in the amount of the deceased fish/plants (not shipping) or sent replacements. If you choose to have replacements sent to you you are liable for the shipping costs. I am not responsible for DOA's that are a result of weather, emergencies, or natural disasters. I am also not liable for DOA's due to lost, damaged, or delayed packages. At this point it turns into the carriers responsibility. I insure every package to or past the amount of the final cost of the auction. If this occurs I will do everything in my power to make sure you are reimbursed by the carrier. At the end of the day I want to make sure that you, the customer, are satisfied with your purchase.
