HOUSE of ORANGE ANGELFISH HATCHERY

ON OUR KOIS
We currently have 3 KOI lineage - Vermilion (red-orange), Tiger Orange (orange), and Guilded Orange (yellow-orange). The Tiger Orange lineage is the oldest - going back some 12yrsl All our KOIS were developed using imported non-Koi bloodlines from Asia and Europe. In otherwords, they were developed from scratch. If youre a casual hobbyist, this wont matter but if you breed angels, this is a key feature. Is it no wonder that the bulk of my customer base (AB is our smallest market) are are professional breeders and hobbyists-breeders. To date, there are only 4 truly independent Koi lineages in the US; mine is one of them. If youre a Koi enthusiast, youll most likely know who the other 3 are (one of these lineages may have possibly gone extinct - at least I havent heard about her Kois for at LEAST 5 yrs., dont quote me on this one) and how its possible to make Kois...without using kois.

COLOR DEVELOPMENT IN OUR KOIS, VERMILION MARBLE BLUSHINGS, AND SUNSETS (BODY COLOR COVERAGE ENABLED)
Tiger Orange Kois - 3 phases, Vermilion Kois - 4 phases, Sunset Blushings - 2 to 3 (doesnt have a phase 1 and transitory phases are dependent on whether they came from Tigers or Verms), Vermilion Marble Blushings 4 (extended color development timeframe compared to any of the above). The guide below shows the different transitory phases.
