Hello!

Once upon a time, I bought some red cherry shrimp, hoping that my bettas would enjoy their company.

At first, nothing I did was right and my shrimp kept dying. Then, thanks to a lot of friendly help from various online forums, SO many online purchases that my coworkers probably thought I was running a zoo from my office, and a stroke of good luck, the red cherry shrimp stopped dying and started thriving.

However, none of my betta fish enjoyed their company: one tried to eat them, one is too blind to find them but terrorized them, and one is afraid of them.

Thus, the shrimp hung out with themselves. I was happy when the females (FINALLY) became berried...and had their little ones...and got berried again...and had more little ones. I got more red cherry shrimp (for genetic variety).

A few months ago, I noticed that I had WAY more red cherry shrimp than I thought. The shrimp were sexing more than rabbits! Two weeks ago, I noticed more that I had more shrimp than I thought possible - these guys gotta go. Even the former

Shipping and Other Information

I will answer all emails within 24 hours, and most within 5 hours.

All of my shipments will leave from zip code 10022. This means that most metropolitan areas (and nearby areas) will be able to get my shrimp within 1 day (USPS Priority Express) or 2 days (USPS Priority), ensuring that the shrimp undergo a short trip and should be less stressed and hungrier than ever when you get them.

Please email me if you want to know the water parameters of the shrimp tanks, what I feed my shrimp, or any other information not listed in the auction post. Red cherry shrimp are hardy and most people don't like to read novel-length auction posts, so I will keep those auction posts short. However, I am a kind-of-nerd by when it comes to these guys (having lost quite a few at first). I understand if you want to know this information before placing a bid or purchasing my shrimp and will gladly provide this information to you.

I do not label boxes as *LIVE FISH*. Other users have posted their reasons and my reasons are the same. That said, while I learn some basic HTML and also how to navigate this site, I am unwilling to plagiarize their opinions. Please email me if you want to know why do not label boxes as *LIVE FISH*.
