Samari Limited specializes in Nerite snails and Bobtail Pygmy squid. We have one of the most successful breeding programs of Pygmy squid in the USA, and have the largest living collection of Nerites in the world. Our Nerites have been sent to public aquariums, living museums, private breeders, educational facilities and universities in 32 countries.
We also have the largest collection of specimen shells in North America, with more than 68-million individually numbered and sorted shells. This collection rivals even the Smithsonian's and consists of 80% gastropod shells.
Samari Limited is based in the USA and has only recently begun offering our tank raised livestock to private hobbists. While we do not work with fish of any kind, we can offer you some very unique display mollusks and invertebrates for your aquariums.
Samari limited is a private, family-owned and operated facility. As such we are unable to offer tours or welcome visitors. We do have a website and are always adding video and photo-slideshow tours on there if you care to see how we operate.
