I LOVE APPLE SNAILS
WELCOME TO MY PAGE
I am a retired Social Worker and breed applesnails. A few years ago if someone asked me if I liked snails I would have said not really. Now I love them. I have spent many hours breeding them and have made many friends with the same interest. They are fasinating creatures and I am always learning new things about them. I currently have 7 species, Bridgesii, Wild and Gold Canas, Insularums, Haustrum, Asolene spixi, Marisa, Malaysian Trumpets, and Ramshorns, There is a a variety of colors among the species. Some lay egg clutches above the water line and some lay clutches below the water line. I belong to Eastern Iowa Aquarium Association and participate in their auctions and swap meets. I also sell my snails to live fish shops
I have MTS disease
