My name is Karin. I am married with 4 kids. I have 3 dogs, I have a 30 gal tank with guppies and platies I have a betta have a 10 gal. gold fish tank that I am going to be putting them in my other 30 gal tank they are getting too big for the little tank(one of the gold fish was givin to us that family didn't want anymore. also have a 20 gal tank that has a rescue fish in it that we save from being dumped. it is called a jelly bean or something like that. there was two but the other one I didn't have enough time to save it he died a week after I got him. poor water cond. before I had them. My family loves animals.
MORE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ARNOLD-CHIARI MALFORMATION:
My yougest daughter, Alissa has Arnold-Chiari malformation, This is a strucktural problem that affects the cerebbellum. ( the back of the brain) Normally it is 3 cm. down in the back of the head, Alissa is 11 cm. and was causing fluid filled cavities in her spinal cord right in her neck area. It was causing her to swell in her neck, she could not swallow a lot at all. And if we let it go it would have paralysised her. she got me in to the fish she wanted some. and they love her they hurry over to the side of the tank when she goes to look in. she has a way with them I usally give new fish about a month, then they do the same thing as the older fish.
