I have compiled some information here that will hopefully answer questions you may have. Welcome!
Shipping Information
I prefer to make shipments on Monday and Tuesday of the week. I will only give a live arrival guarantee on fish that are shipped and received overnight (at this time USPS is doing a very poor job of making their deliveries on time, so I can't offer a live delivery guarantee in good conscience using them as a carrier. I will only offer a live arrival guarantee with UPS overnight shipping.) The fish must be accepted on the carrier's first delivery attempt and this attempt must be made on time by the carrier per their published delivery time. If there is any problem with dead fish upon an on schedule delivery, the buyers must take CLEAR pictures of the dead fish in their UNOPENED plastic shipping bag and present them to me within two (2) hours of the carrier's published delivery time. The live arrival guarantee covers the cost of the fish only, NOT the shipping costs. I have had a good track record with multi day shipments, even though there is no live arrival guarantee offered with them. I pack all of my fish to be shipped in double 3 mil thick plastic bags as a standard and sometimes use more layers of bags if necessary. The bags are filled with pure oxygen and ammonia removers. The fish are normally fasted for three (3) days before being shipped. I use Styrofoam lined boxes with heat packs or cold packs if the current weather temperatures require them. Payments by the buyer via PayPal will include about an extra 3.5% payment because of the PayPal fees. Please contact me for a quote on the type of shipping you would like me to use.
