What are Nano Buddies?
Nano Buddies are fun and special aquatic pets that everyone can enjoy. Nano Buddies are more unique than what's available in most pet stores and can be kept in nano aquariums of ten gallons or less. There is a Nano Buddy for everyone, easy to keep ornamental species to pygmy puffers that get to know their owners! Nano Buddies are not wild caught or imported, like most aquatic pets. Nano buddies are all bred and raised ethically using eco-conscious practices in our Nano Buddy Nursery in sunny California. From the Caribbean coast of south America to the rivers of southern India and exotic places in between, our species have been carefully selected to be your new best buddies!
Ethical Fish Breeding
Nano Buddies are all bred in our Nano Buddy Nursery in sunny California. We do not use overcrowded ponds or bare tanks that keep fish stressed and in an unnatural living environment. We do our best to replicate their natural habitats in appropriately sized aquariums in real-world densities. This allows us to not only provide a more ethical environment for our little buddies but also monitor them more accurately. It allows for the Nano Buddies to be happier, healthier and have less exposure to diseases, infections and parasites. All of the treatment chemicals, medicines and foods we use have been sourced from eco-conscious producers. We do our best to provide accurate and easy care instructions for all Nano Buddies allowing everyone to experience all the fun and joy Nano Buddies have to offer with ease and confidence.
