THANKS FOR VISITING MY JUST ME PAGE

A Little About ME
I've been in the fish hobby/business most my life, professionally since 1973. When I was a teenager I worked for a pet store for several years. Then as an adult I've been an importer/wholesaler and have also owned a fish store. At this time I run my hatchery out of my home/garage. Currently I have 100 tanks set-up. With another 50 or so in storage.

I started my professional carrier back in '73 raising and selling Angelfish and Corydoras. Over the years I've been successful breeding several varieties of fish. Such as several types of, tetras, barbs, platies, swordtails, guppies, bettas, gouramies, rainbows, killies, kuhli loach, invertebrates, corydoras, plecostomus, Syn. multipuntatus & petricola, discus, angelfish, apistos, South American cichlids, African cichlids (Lake Tanganyika & Malawi), and a few from Lake Victoria.

I've also propagated several saltwater corals, mushrroms. Along with spawning damsels, clowns, and dottybacks.

PAYMENT AND SHIPMENT TERMS
PAYMENT: My preferred method for receiving payment is through paypal. I DO NOT charge any extra fees for using this survice. I do also except USPS Money Orders. NO other forms of payment will be excepted.

SHIPPING: In most cases the fish will be bagged individually. In the event that several fish are bagged together, the numbers will be kept to a minimum. Fish are purged for 2 days prior to shipping to help clean out their system. The fish are transferred to fresh water prior to shipping to minimize TDS's that might be present in tank water. The use of Jungle's Bag Buddies along with Medical O2 is added to the shipping bags.

The pH of our water is 7.4 out of the tap. I DO NOT alter the pH in the shipping bags.

The 2 driving factors in the toxicity of ammonia are pH & temperature. Since I don't lower the pH to make it less toxic that leaves trying to keep the temperature from rising to high. So heat packs are used only during extreme cold. Cold packs may be used to keep the temperature from getting to high during extreme heat.

Therefore, just be aware that as you float the bags in your tank after receiving your shipment that any ammonia present in the shipping bags becomes more toxic as the temperature rises. By adding a few drops of Amquel Plus to the shipping bags upon opening, will bind any ammonia present. Making it non-toxic during the acclimation process.
