Just Rainbow Fish
HEY...
My name is Rob and I am fairly new to the Aquabid community. My passion for tropical fish started as a boy when I kept a 55 gal freshwater tank for a good majority of my childhood. Then high school and college came along and life distracted me away from the hobby for some time. I got married and have 3 wonderful children. My long-lost passion for tropical fish was rekindled when we bought a 5 gallon tank as my son's first fish tank. Shortly after that purchase, I strangly found myself hauling a used 72 gallon bow-front tank home in my minivan with my 3 young children all stuffed in the car. It was a squeeze but it all fit...somehow. Man, was I up late that night, but by the wee hours of the morning I had that tank set up and hummin' away. Since then, well...I guess you could say some passions can get out of control...at least according to my wife.
MY LOVE FOR RAINBOW FISH GOES ON...
Well, after about a year having my fishroom up and running, I ended up having to shut it down as I was needing to go back to work full time and fealt I could not commit the proper amount of time to caring for the fish that I wanted while working full time. Despite no longer having a fishroom, my passion for rainbow fish goes on and I still keep several different high-quality species in my display tank and do set them up to spawn from time to time. It is still my goal to continue to proliferate high-quality rainbow fish and eggs to others as much as I possibly can.
