Shipping and Quarantine Procedures
Our discus are triple-bagged with clean water and pure oxygen, then carefully boxed with heat packs (if necessary) to ensure a comfortable trip to their new home. We ship our fish via express or overnight services provided by FedEx, UPS, and Delta Dash. Other shipping options can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
All express/overnight shipments come with a Live Arrival Guarantee. In the unlikely event that your fish are D.O.A., please call, text, or email us within 1 hour of receiving the package and include a picture of the dead fish in its original bag. Our Live Arrival Guarantee covers the cost of the fish, excluding shipping.
We strongly recommend quarantining all new arrivals. Your fish will be stressed after being shipped and introduced to a new aquarium. We recommend a separate, empty quarantine tank specifically for your new fish so that they have a chance to rest and regain their strength and appetites. For best results, all new fish should be quarantined for 4 to 6 weeks to monitor their overall health before mixing them into your existing aquariums. This is not required but strongly recommended. Skipping quarantine is something you do at your own risk!
