Cichlidiots Anonymous
Have long been a fan of cichlids aka Chicklets. Faves include West Africans, Rift Lakes, South & Central Americans. Specific faves: Pelvicachromis, Chromidotilapia, all Mbuna, Featherfins. Growing soft spot for fancy plecos (currently working with Hypancistrus sp. Monte Dorado (often mislabeled as L-260 and longfin Ancistrus).
Where I'm from, Where I've been
After growing up in NYC and living all around the country (including NJ; BFE Ohio; stationed with the US Navy in Key West, FL; Sunnyvale, CA; and Las Vegas, NV), I've finally settled in the country...living in the Grants Pass/Rogue River area of Oregon. There really isn't a prettier place I've ever been...now with a husband, a 12-year-old son, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 goats, 30-odd chickens and oodles of fish, have no reason to go anywhere else!
