About Us

BTDarters is a for-profit organization dedicated to the proliferation of American-Native fish in the aquarium hobby.��At this time we operate on a collect-and-sell basis, but in the future we hope to sell fish that have been completely capitve born and raised.��We are committed to preserving the fish in their natural habitats.��BTDarters keeps close tabs on the numbers of fish that we collect for sale from each location.��We only take as many fish from each location as the population will allow and still be able to sustain itself.��For more information about us, please visit our website, http://www.btdarters.com.

Shipping

Please note: these are our general shipping terms.��If the shipping terms on the auction page differ from these terms, the terms on the auction page take precedence.

Our fish are shipped with the greatest of care.��They are packed with a good deal of air in the bag and water conditioner.��Not too many fish per bag.��We ship in a styrofoam-lined box of our choosing, usually a standard fish styro.��You keep the box at no charge.��Fish are double-bagged for protection.��Our carrier is DHL.��Rates for DHL are usually about $55 to $75 per standard styro box, about 12 fish.��Less fish = smaller box = less money.��You can pay up-front or we will have them bill you in a week or two.��DHL has both next day service and second-day service.��Please note that there is NO LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE WITH SECOND-DAY SERVICE.��WE WILL PACK TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY, BUT THE BUYER ASSUMES ALL RISK.

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE!! All fish are guaranteed to arrive alive by any overnight service unless we tell you otherwise.��Some exceptions will occur.��Regarding Dead On Arrival (DOA) fish, to verify DOA and get replacement fish, a picture (digital preferred) of the fish in the bag and out of the bag must be submitted within two hours of arrival.��Replacement guarantee does not include shipping, and may just be credit of the purchase price.��In some cases we will pay to reship, but it is not implied that we will.��It is case by case.��You or your agent must accept the fish on 1st delivery attempt.��If you are buying fish from us, you will have our email and phone number.��We're always ready to assist with any problems!

Payment

Payment may be made by Cash (Milwaukee Metro or Pickup only), Money Order, Cashier's Check, Personal Check, PayPal , or Credit Card (Via PayPal).��Wisconsin residents, please add 5.65% sales tax to your payment.

Where Are We?
